Hi All

Do you know the cli command for netsight appliance that can give me the serial no information of the appliance?

Thanks a lot

Nick

Nick,

Was XMC set up to allow for LDAP credentials?  If you’re able to log in via SSH, you should be able to change the login method, to allow the local credentials to work following this GTAC Knowledgebase article (I’ve run into this, and used this method - on an older install, not XMC 8.x):

https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/Solution/000003421/?q=xmc+logon+ldap&l=en_US&fs=S...

Hopefully this helps…

Thanks,

Bill

Nick,

You should be able to open a case without serial number.

If you cannot via web, just call them.

Hi Miguel

The problem is I cannot log in to XMC and I cannot open a GTAC case without those info. This is the issue that we are having we cannot log in to the XMC but the credentials are 100% correct.

Any suggestions?

Kind Regards

Nick

Nick,

It is in the database, I don’t think you’ll get it via CLI.

You can get it via the GUI in Administration/Diagnostics:
