After the new restrictions, what happens to XIQ CONNECT accounts that have more than 10 devices on board?
Will they all become unmanageable?

With new limits to 'Connect' version to 10 device limit,  we cannot extend the limit of devices for the Connect version.  If you plan on upgrading to the pilot version please contact Sales to get Entitlement.

We're having the same problem.  We're a small non-profit with 15 devices registered.  Is there an extension we can apply for?

I have fought that for many weeks now and they will do a deeper multi-year discount, but you got to be willing to pay for multiple years up front which takes away for non-profits.   If you don't want to pay it will leave you with two options.  1.  just go command line and get all the feature for free.   2.  create a second "free" and split your devices between them.

if you choose #2, just make sure you hive is the same name/password along with any other setting you have for your setup.
