disable iqagent | 30.7.1.1 patch1-54

i just have one simple question. maybe 2 🙂

its about this log: clearflow iqagent: enable dhcp vlan Mgmt

i understand the iqagent is trying to connect tio xiq, which our customer does not use/need. So i found this .xmod: summitX-30.7.1.1-patch1-54-iqagent-0.3.14.xmod

question1: is this file supposed to add a module to the existing .xos, where the agent could be disabled?

question2: is a reboot necessary after installing the .xmod file?

thank you for the quick response. Thats the ‘problem’ here, the customer has no intention to upgrade any time soon and just want to be sure if the xmod extension would fix the problem.

Hello, 

in 30.7.1.1-patch1-86 the command “disable iqagent” was implemented. I would upgrade to this version (also because it is the recommended release currently) and then use this command.
