Extreme X690 switch connection to HP ProCurve 8206zl Switch

Hello,

Our customer have existing modular switch which is HP ProCurve 8206zl and it's up and running on their existing network. We implemented an isolated network called "AV network" that composed of Extreme Switches. Now the customer needs to interconnect their network with the AV network. To be able to interconnect the two networks, we need to connect the Extreme X690 as the switch facing to their network on HP ProCurve 8206zl Switch. My question is, what SFP modules we need to use to be able to interconnect the two switches?

HP Switches ofter accept only their own DAC-Cable and optics.
If it should be cheap you should try HP 10g DAC Cables to Interconnect. On X670G2 and X670 I never had problems with 3rd party DAC cables. But all in all it's a little risk.
The better way (but more expensive) is to use each vendor optics for the same standard (may be 10G SR).
Extreme Switch with Extreme 10G SR Optics and HP Switch with 10G SR Optics.
