Port 10G X440G2

Port 10G X440G2

Hello,
I made a connection with a 10G equipment and an Extreme Network X440-G2-48p-10G4 switch, but this link not work.
The modules are 10G-SR, they have been tested well on the other equipment.
On X440, I connect on port 49 that is SFP+.
I don't have a 10G license, do I need a 10G license for port 49-52?
Can we connect other equipment with ports 49-52?
Thanks

Hello,

You will require a 10Gb port license to use the ports as 10Gb on an x440-G2.

This is explained in the following article: https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000088815

Most likely this will also show up in the "show log" output via the CLI.

In case you don't have a 10Gb license you can use the ports at 1Gb with 1Gb SFP's

Hi,

How to get the license and how to upload/install it into the switch?
