Hi i have bought a Extreme Networks Access Point from a private seller, and what not aware of the administrated ecosystem of Extreme Networks nor that it was for business usage. However, the damage is done i have 2 piece of WS-AP3805i sitting at home.

Is there any way that i can configure or setup up the AP's for private usage. What is needed?

You could install OpenWRT on it. Firmware images at https://firmware-selector.openwrt.org/?version=22.03.5&target=ath79%2Fgeneric&id=extreme-networks_ws... and install instructions at https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/3762

Hi tariksalihovic, 

Unfortunately, there's no way to setup AP38xx for "private use", as they need an IdentiFi controller. There's no "standalone" configuration for them.
