Hi everybody.

I've got some strange log messages after disabling sharing on both X670V-48x (15.5.4.2 patch1-5).

02/20/2016 06:02:07.04  Function pointer is not initialized. Caller: 0x4424c8 Parm1: 0x1000004 Parm2: 0xf424c
02/20/2016 06:02:06.86 :: (ssh) m.ermakov: disable sharing 42
02/20/2016 06:01:52.27 :: (ssh) m.ermakov: disable mlag port 42
I've found this article https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/Solution/Warn-HAL-Sys-Warning-Slot-1-Fan-Function... but it's not exactly what I've seen.

Any suggestions?

Did you see any network impact when this occurred? (Or since then?)

Also, were there any more config changes made prior to this, or just the sharing/MLAG configuration?

I didn't see any network impact. I'm going to get some more details about it todays night.

Hi eyeV,

Based on the log messages, it seems that those commands/function were not reflected on the switch memory.

You can check the switch configuration and be sure these parameters (MLAG and LAG configurations) are no longer there and also monitor the environment for any impact or abnormal behavior.
