Hi Waqas,

What do you mean by test procedure? Do you mean troubleshooting procedure?

Basically equipment is in customs and they need to perform test procedure for OSPF v3 before approving the clearance and release

I still don't understand why customs has to validate OSPFv3 to give clearance.

Neither do I. Doesn't make sense to me.

Waqas, could you please clarify?

Thanks.

Hi Waqas,

you might want to take a look at the documentation for OSPFv3. For testing you probably need two switches with the respective licenses, a network cable between them, and then configure basic OSPFv3 in the Default VLAN. Adding IP addresses, enabling ipforwarding, enabling OSPFv3, and adding vlan Default to OSPFv3 should suffice. You could then use the commands starting with show ospfv3 to verify operation.
