Additional Settings - Hive (Roaming Cacheor settings) vs ssid additional settings, who is the master and how does it work?

Can someone tell me what setting is the master or what is the function of the hive settings? Are SSID additional settings overruled by the SSID setting?

Thanks!

Hello,

A more detailed explanation is available here:

https://docs.aerohive.com/330000/docs/help/english/ng/Content/gui/configuration/configuring-hive-settings.htm

The Hive Settings are specific to how the Access Points/Switches and other devices joined to this hive communicate with Hivemanager and each other.

SSID Settings and their additional settings are specific to how Client devices interact with the WLAN.

I hope this helps,
