We bought a lot of AP550's more than a year ago. Zero issues. We bought a lot more AP550's more recently to swap out our AP230's and we have had a lot of problems, so far more than 10% RMA and climbing. Has anyone had any issues with AP550's recently?
Also, does anyone have settings in the radio profile that have been working well with a dual 5Ghz setup for the AP550?
We are an education environment, with a large Chromebook rollout for our 1:1 (yes we have already put in place all the recommended settings for Chromebooks and Aerohive). Again, no issues with the previous "lot". We are seeing a lot of "high collision" on Wifi0 and Wifi1 with a very good neighborhood and only VERY FEW APs with collision and retry rates over 50% (like 1 or 2 a day out of 130).

We have a dozen AP550s in our deployments, using traditional 2.4/5 GHz radios, and haven't seen these issues. Are you primarily seeing issues on your 2.4GHz radios? Have you tinkered with max power settings on wifi0 radios? Do you have load balancing turned on? What does ACSP reveal?

The symptoms are laptops (Mac and Chrome at random) being unable to connect and then if they do it is very slow rate speed (I've disabled all rates below 24 as recommended). One classroom could be 5 students and a teacher, another classroom could be 10 students. They go to another AP and they are fine. Is it possible to have an RMA rate at 20-30%+ for one order? We didn't run new line, change ports on the switch or anything. It is NOT a wired network issue. We have opened several tickets and do the same song and dance just to find out we have to RMA that particular problem AP, then another, then another, then another, etc.
