Thank you, unfortunately, we are not expecting any new features on the 20xx and 21xx series switches at this time. These switch models are under continuing support at this time, but are currently end of sale and have reached the end of new feature development or enhancement.

aah, I am using 21XX, any new code version coming for these switches that would allow for interface range?

It is possible to use the range command in the CLI of the 22xx and 23xx series switches. While it is recommended to use the HiveManager GUI to make configuration changes in order to avoid a situation where a configuration update is unable to reconcile changes made via the CLI and desired configurations from HiveManager. However, for command line configuration, the range command does work. While in config mode on the switches, enter 'int 1/0/X-1/0/X' (dash or comma as necessary) to configure those interfaces, as below:

 

(AH-Switch) (Config)#

(AH-Switch) (Config)#interface 1/0/3,1/0/7-1/0/10

 

(AH-Switch) (Interface 1/0/3,1/0/7-1/0/10)#
