This "unable to save image to flash memory" error is a known Aerohive/Extreme HiveOS issue that shows up repeatedly on old firmware like your 6.1r1, usually because the AP is still using TLS 1.0 to talk to the cloud (which was disabled on the cloud side a while back), so the secure image transfer fails partway and gets reported as a flash-write error instead of a connection error — the fix is to update the AP manually via its local Web UI (or console/CLI) using a firmware image pulled from Extreme's support portal or sent to you by support, getting it up to a current 6.5r-series build first, after which cloud-based updates and config push should work normally again; it's also worth double-checking the AP has two DNS servers configured (a single DNS entry has caused this same error) and that your firewall allows UDP 12222 and TCP 443, which HiveManager uses for config and firmware delivery, and if it still won't budge after a reboot, opening a support case is the fastest path since Extreme has historically emailed affected users the exact image and a step-by-step upgrade guide.

To change the country code assigned to your APs from United Kingdom (826) to United States (840), you'll typically need to request a region/regulatory domain change through the vendor's support team. saturn snap planets For Aerohive/Extreme Networks devices, this change cannot usually be performed directly by the user because it affects the AP's regulatory settings. Opening a support case is the recommended approach, and if you don't have an active support contract, contacting the vendor's community support team may help facilitate the change.

Would this also apply to an AP305C running 10.r.6? I'm also unable to update configs on my new APs.

If you're using ExtremeCloud IQ you'll need to update the device to at least 6.5r3 in order to manage it in the GUI. I've emailed you the firmware files you'll need and a guide that reviews how to update the device via it's Web UI so you can get the device on the latest firmware for your model. Please let me know if you have any trouble updating the device.
