Hivemanager migration from one datacenter to another

Hi team,

We are in middle of migrating our VMs from one data center to another. We have migrated Hivemanager VM and have changed the IP addresses accordingly. We have done testing and from migrated HM internet is reachable also hmupdates.aerohive.com is resolveable. Nothing is blocked on the firewall for the migrated HM. However, when we log in to the migrated VM, it throws following warning after accepting the credentials:

Welcome to Aerohive HiveManager Your permission of account will automatically be limited because HiveManager lost the connection with the license server (hmupdates.aerohive.com). Please check your network settings.

Please see attached screenshot. As I said there are no blocks seen on the firewall, we are not sure what is wrong here. Network settings and DNS settings on the VM are all correct.

Any help would be appreciated.

Firewall should be the only thing that could cause that. Might want to contact tech support, if you give them your IP they can see if the license server sees any failures. Could help to narrow the issue down a bit.

Thanks, Georgia. The warning seems to disappear on its own. We left the firewall rules in place for the traffic which we see as blocked. However, it doesn't make sense because our HM is on-prem. No idea why it is querying or sending request to hmupdates.aerohive.com.
