For design purpose, we considerate the following:
60 simultaneous connection (AP130) (Aprox 20 users)*
90 simultaneous connection (AP250) (Aprox 30 users)*
120 simultaneous connection (AP550) (Aprox 40 users)*
Using 5Ghz band most of the time.
*According with requirement, every user would have 2 or 3 devices, and they’ll consume mid to high traffic (video, file transfer etc).
Please could you give us your feedback with that calculation?
Additionally, customer is asking how many theoretical connections will support each AP (130, 250, 550 and 1130).
I know this info isn’t accurate because it depends on many factors, but they’re making comparison with Ruckus for example, and this info doesn’t appear on the Aerohive’s Data Sheet.
