For Wireless Site-Survey i use a PoE-Battery to get the APs running.
But with the backhaul link check the AP is shutting down the SSID when backhaul is down.
I used to configure the APs in Hivemanager Classic and only saw this problem with AP122 and 122X. AP130 worked well.
Now in Hivemanger (NG) i have the same problem with AP130 too.
So it has to be a configuration thing, isn't it?

Hi again!
i did some more testing and i have found a solution for my problem.
The trick is simple. Start the AP only with power from the battery.
If i start the AP without a switch connection, then the AP brings up the configured SSIDs and never turns them off.

Hi Sam!
The AP does not do any config rollback. The AP simply turns off the ssid.
Switch -------> PoE Battery --------> AP for configuration.
PoE Battery --------> AP for survey.
I try to run the AP only with the battery for a survey. Without any switch.
But if i remove the cable from the switch, the ssid is gone.
If i plug in the cable again, then the ssid comes back online immediately.
I can not make any surveys with this behavior.

You'd want to put the network policy on to the AP with the HiveManager, and then run "no config rollback enable" and "save config". Then reboot the AP so it comes up without a hard connection and you should be good to go.
