Looking for some settings recommendations for AP150w in dorm rooms

I am looking for some recommendations on power settings for a Multi-dwelling unit building of dorms. Construction is primarily cinder block. Just installed and initially for testing have set power levels to 2.4ghz-8 and 5ghz-11. I am thinking I need to lower power on these but wondered if anyone had any input on possible similar scenarios and what they are running. Thanks for any input

I'd take a look at your neighbor list with "show acsp neighbor" at this point to see if there are any loud neighbors on the wifi1 band. If we see loud neighbors, we'll want to continue to turn the power down on the 5GHz radio. If you want to send me tech data from the AP I can check the neighbor list for you and let you know what I find. My direct email address is communityhelp@aerohive.com.

I realize every single scenario is going to be different based on building/materials etc but I would think aerohive would benefit from giving out some info on a suggested starting point with settings on these devices. Obviously aimed at MDU so even if not exact, a good starting point would be helpful for customers. Thanks for providing me with some help. I appreciate it. I didn't figure I would want to go below like 3dBm and I will start there and see if I feel the need to go lower.

ap per room. We had a hallway setup but it was not very good with building construction and not a lot of AP's for coverage
