I want to use a AP150w without LAN connection as mesh and the ethernet ports for connecting wired clients.
I have set up a wireless network which runs ok. Then i configure the AP150 on wifi0 as backhaul mesh and choose the same channel as on the wired AP130. But after a restart, the AP150w will not mesh connect to the AP130. And, i see no Neighboring Devices on the AP150w, while using a wired connection. Strange.
May anybody share some light with me. I am totally lost.
Thanks for help.

You'll need to enabled this on the AP130 also in order for the 150 to mesh. It may not come up instantly, but if you keep check on the show amrp neighbor you should see it come up shortly after.

Thanks very much for explaining, I've updated the guide to hopefully make that clearer. I sincerely appreciate the feedback, please let me know if you can think of anything else we can improve, on this guide or any others you come across.

Hi Sam,
in the guide, under solution you find.....To set up Meshing on HiveManager go to Monitor> Click on the host name of the AP to be used in the Mesh connection to open device specific settings. Then on the left hand side menu, go to Configuration> Interface Settings. In here, go to either the 2.4 GHz Radio tab or the 5 GHz radio tab and click the check box next to Backhaul Mesh Link. Please change this setting on the AP which will do Mesh as well as the wired AP.
The BOLD part only describes one Access Point, not BOTH. I would think, it could be a good idea to write here something like the underlined explanation.
Hope that is what you meant.
Best and you are very welcome
Alexander

Thanks for letting us know @Alexander von Widekind . When you say update that guide, do you mean to include setting those radios in backhaul mesh mode? That should be in the first paragraph under "Solution": To set up Meshing on HiveManager go to Monitor> Click on the host name of the AP to be used in the Mesh connection to open device specific settings. Then on the left hand side menu, go to Configuration> Interface Settings. In here, go to either the 2.4 GHz Radio tab or the 5 GHz radio tab and click the check box next to Backhaul Mesh Link.
Or did you mean to add something else? I just want to make sure the guide is a useful as possible. Thanks again for the feedback!
