Migrate an Entitlement Key to ExtremeCloud IQ

We have an on-premises Hive Manager from which I want to migrate an Entitlement Key to ExtremeCloud IQ. However, in the on-premises Hive Manager I miss the button remove / deactivate. When I enter the Entitlement Key in ExtremeCloud IQ I get a License Server Error: core.service.unknown.error. I think this is because the Entitlement Key is still present in the on-premises Hive Manager.

If you're using the online version of ExtremeCloud IQ, you'll need to get new keys generated. Unfortunately entitlement keys for an on premises deployment will not work with a cloud deployment as there are some fundamental differences in the keys we use for each platform. There should be no cost for converting your keys in to cloud keys so long as the entitlement key is still valid, but this is something that technical support or your sales engineer would have to do for you.
