Thank you for letting me know. Here is a guide on setting up a remote sniffer packet capture using HiveManager Classic, for when you are able to test- https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/Packet-Capture

Once you have that, if you could email the capture and the test client MAC address to me at communityhelp@aerohive.com (and please also reference this post so I know what conversation to update), then I can take a look and let you know what I find.

They're managed by HiveManager Classic.

We have some newer 230s which don't have the same issue in the logs - aside from bonjour notifications.

At this stage with it being the school holidays we'll have to wait for when the staff/students are back to check (remote site).

That looks like a possible DHCP issue, would you be able to run a remote sniffer packet capture while your users are having connection issues? If you can tell me which HiveManager platform you are using, I can give you a guide for how to run a remote sniffer packet capture. This guide will walk you through how to determine which HiveManager you are using, for reference: https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/Which-HiveManager-Platform-am-I-using

We'll want to run the capture, replicate the issue a few times, and note the MAC address of a device having this issue during the packet capture.

We have a similar issue at one of our schools where the AP330 are intermittently disconnecting users.

There doesn't seem to be an obvious pattern to it either.

But checking the AP logs shows the error above in droves - every few minutes or so during school hours.

There are multiple VLANs in use per AP which may be complicating things.

If we could get a rough idea of where to start troubleshooting then that'd be appreciated as this appears to be the common issue across all AP330s onsite.

I'd need a bit more context to tell you what's going on and how we'd want to troubleshoot it. Could you send tech data from the AP you see this message on, and describe any network issues you've been having recently? My direct email is communityhelp@aerohive.com. Below are some guides on how to collect tech data, depending on which HiveManager Platform you are using.

Tech Data:

HiveManager Classic-https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/Collecting-Tech-Data-via-CLI

HiveManager NG-https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/Collecting-Tech-Data-via-CLI

Device CLI-https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/Collecting-Tech-Data-via-CLI

This guide will walk you through how to determine which HiveManager Platform you are using: https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/Which-HiveManager-Platform-am-I-using
