Ok I found the cause, it wasn't somthing corrupted.

In one SSID configuration, I forgot to add the source addreses of my GRE tunnel.

The error message isn't explicit at all. Hope a better tshoot mechanism will be implemented on HM.

Thanks for your help

I was able to get it working by removing the switch and then adding it back. My point is that in a post over a year old not single AH rep posted a solution. This company would be such a heavy hitter if they buckled down and fixed the problem thats always been present - the code.

No easy answer for "Failed to generate XML-formatted config". Hive manager bug, some policy or setting has corrupt or has a invalid setting. In my case "QoS policies" caused issues applying firewall polices, I simply detached the QoS policy from the config. For you, it's probably going to be something else, probably related to the last change you made prior to receiving the error. Try starting with a new config, duplicating settings from your old, trial and error. If you call tech support, that is what they would do.

Still no answer to this? I'm currently experiencing some difficulty getting configs to an SR2124P and cannot for the life of me figure out why. Gotta love the in house feedback. Great Job!

I also just experiencedthis error when a adding rule to the IP Firewall Policy - using HM Classic 8.2r2. When I remove the rule it works as expected. Turns HM into a paperweight, unable to deploy new configs.

Never seen this behavior before, probably a new bug with HM 8.2r2. I opened a ticket, I'll see what they say.
