B2Policy License

B2Policy License

Hi guys,

I'm trying to help solve an odd issue with B2 series Policy for a customer and I'm only allowed to run tests out of working hours (after midnight), it's a bit complex...

As a partner, I have a B2H124-48 here in my lab, but with no policy license, so I can't replicate the customer's environment and try some debugging/replicating the problem without messing with customer's operation or working after midnight.

As there's no option to ask for a demo license on the extranet, Is there any way to get a "trial" license to help with this issue?

Best regards,

-Leo

Extreme should really just give you a license for free considering the age of that peoduct. Cisco has done that for me quite a few times. However, I was under the impression that only D2 switches needed a license, and that license is 100% ftee. Call up GTAC and see what they say.
