Hi Team!!!

Maybe this is a trivial question but im unable to find the procedure.

Im replacing a legacy ERS stack topology by fabric to the edge. All new VOSS devices have Archive daily task.

But if one VOSS fail and RMA must be execute, how is the procedure to load the archive config to the new one? Any tips?

Thanks in advance

To replace a failed VOSS switch and load its archive configuration, first physically replace the unit and establish basic network connectivity on the new switch. Then, use the `copy` command (via TFTP or SFTP) to transfer the relevant archive file to the switch's flash and use the `configure` command to load it. Finally, save the running configuration with `write memory` and verify connectivity. For a smooth process, use consistent archive naming, a centralized server, documented procedures, and periodically test the recovery.
