EMC 8.3.2.11 - Alam “statistic: PortValidPacketsPercent, value: xx.xx, compared to: yy.yy”

Hello, can anyone help me with this issue, what does it mean, how can I reduce this noise?

EMC on 8.3.2.11, we have mainly Avaya ERS BOSS switches.

Hello Josh,

You can go to the ‘Alarm Configuration’ tab and modify/disable “Interface % Valid Packets’ alarm. Seems it has a threshold that is violated by the amount of valid packets below 95% expected.

It may be a network health issue or just adjust the alarm’s threshold.
