Yes. This integration is about sending Analytics data to Splunk.

Extreme Analytics does not offer long term details. Extreme Analytics does aggregate the data and you may work with historical aggregated data.
example: what was the user XYZ experience with the application ABC last year and what it is this year.

with ELK you can have information about each flow. Example: was user XYZ ever using source port ABC in the locaton L
