I am receiving some alerts stating that Switch UP/Down in netsight , getting the alerts from the switch. But I am able to ping the switch and switch is up so what we need to do in this case please suggest me.

The Extreme Management use SNMP. Check if the SNMP goes through. the fact you can ping the device does not mean the SNMP is working properly. I suggest checking CPU and memory resources. If the Extreme Management is underprovisioned then very often there are false alarms.
