From time to time we are getting a critical alarm in netsight.
It says: "Transport error: 401 Error: Unauthorized Cause:null. Netsight Event: Usage Data Collection Failed To Send"
I found nothing in the documentation for EMC 7.0 which would help.
I know there are a few usage-collections (whoever created them...) but 401 and the error message imply, that the server wants to send them away?!
Has anyone an idea where to look and what this is about?

The same over here, I assume, that the NetSight tries to send the data away, but I don't know where it tries to send the statistics and why - maybe there is a configuration that I'm missing and the behavior is wanted

I don't really know that this message means.
The web-access to the netsight server is ssl-protected

A 401 error means that the target URL is protected, and a username/password is needed for authentication. Please tell us more about the devices in which these alarms are failing against. Also, is SSL or SSH involved?
