There is no switch discovery in ZTP.

Hello,

I am configuring ZTP but the switch is not discovered, I have the following configuration.

The switch is a X440G2-12p-10G4 model, with a version 30.5.1.15.

Netsight version is  8.4.3.24.

The Switch takes IP by DHCP, I contact it by ICMP and I can telnet to it but in EMC it is not discovered.

Additionally, I already validated that you are resolving extremenetwork with the Netsight IP address but I still don't see anything in the discovered tab.

How can I resolve this situation?

Does your Operations panel say that the devices are being discovered? If so, then check your Actions tab and make sure the “Automatically Add” option is enabled.

Hi @Vicent3 - I believe the A record you need in DNS is extremecontrol.domainname vs. extremenetwork.

If you haven’t reviewed it yet, there is a great GTAC Knowledge article availalbe here as well: https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/How_To/What-configuration-is-needed-for-ZTP-Zero-...
