WEBUI Timeout Bug since Update XIQ-SE to Version 26.02.10.41

WEBUI Timeout Bug since Update XIQ-SE to Version 26.02.10.41

Hi everyone, since updating the XIQ-SE onprem Appliance to the latest version, we've been having a problem with timeouts on the WEBUI. The timeout always occurs before the configured time. The exact time varies. The timeout has been set to 4 hours, but it's no longer being reached.

Has anyone else encountered this problem or have any suggestions?

This issue never occurred before the update.

TO ALL -- this concern should be corrected in 26.02.11 ~ mid-March 2026; subject to change. See https://extreme-networks.my.site.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000118697.

Hi Robert, version 26.02.11.14 was officially released yesterday. Can you confirm with 100% certainty that the bug has been fixed? I didn't find any mention of it in the release notes or I missed it.

Best regards
Paul

So the answer is unfortunately no.

The changes introduced in 26.02.10 were partially reverted. While the session timeout problem is not as severe as it was with 26.02.10 there are still cases where it does trigger unexpectedly. A fix for the tabbed browser concern has been developed. The other concerns are still being investigated.

Long short 26.02.11 is better than 26.02.10; 26.02.12 ~ mid-April is hopefully expected to full resolve all scenarios.

Hi Robert, thanks for your reply. I can live with the previous state of the timeout issue quite well. 😉

I will definitely install version 26.02.11 soon and see if the situation has improved for me.

Best regards
Paul
