XIQ-SE Upgrade Problem

XIQ-SE Upgrade Problem

I was trying to upgrade my XIQ-SE to version 24.10.13.5 from 24.10.12.14 and the process stalled on backing up the current installation then the server crashed.  I have tried to restart the server from the VM dashboard but keep getting an "insufficient resources" error. The ova file configured the resources and there is plenty of room in both disk space and memory on the VM host.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Since I upgraded from 24.2 I have had a lot of problems.  The graphs and tables take an extremely long time to load and often require a page refresh to populate.  As well during upgrades the process takes an incredibly long time to do the back up.

I see that there is a new major version 25.2.  Can I fresh install that and then migrate my 24.2 configuration over to it?

Without data, like server.log and show support - it would be difficult to pinpoint the cause of your woes.

In those releases 24.10.xx when an upgrade is performed the entire database is backed up during the upgrade. This was not the case in prior releases and has since been reverted in 25.02. You may have run out of disk space during the upgrade. The output of "df -h" would be nice to confirm that the OS disk space is exhausted or not.

You can retry the upgrade to 25.02 in lieu of 24.10.13.

If you want any further root cause of why your prior upgrade may have failed, please open a support case w/ GTAC.
