Hello,
How can I set the PVID of a port with XMC ? The feature was available in Console, but now, it seems that I need to add a VLAN definition. Otherwise I can’t choose what PVID to set.
Is this now mandatory?
Thanks
Émile

Hello et1000,
you do not need do create a vlan in XMC.
In Configure Device → Vlan Definitions you can read the vlans from your switch with the Reload Device Button.
Now you will see all vlans configured on the device and you can change the PVID in the Port Tab (via Edit).
To do that select <Use local settings> as Port Template.
Don’t forget do push “Update” and do an Enforce Preview after your changes.
If you need new VLANs not present on the switch in the moment, you can do that in Vlan Definitions, too.
Best regards
Stephan
