Hi,
We currently have several Aerohive AP230 operating in our local environment. We are in the process of migrating then to our ExtremeCloud IQ environment.
We recently created a new institutional account to centrally manage the access points. However, when attempting to register the first device, we receive an error indicating that it appears to already be registered under another tenant.
Our institution is the legitimate owner of these Aerohive AP230 devices, and we would appreciate your assistance in transfering or releasing them so the can be successfully registered to our ExtremeCloud IQ tenant.
Thank you for your assistance.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out. This usually means the AP230s are still associated with a different ExtremeCloud IQ tenant. Since your institution is the rightful owner, you'll need to contact Extreme Networks Support and provide the serial numbers of the affected APs along with proof of ownership (such as a purchase invoice or reseller documentation). Once ownership is verified, they can release or transfer the devices to your new ExtremeCloud IQ account. After the release is completed, you should be able to register the AP230s successfully in your tenant.

Thank you lily64mark
That's exactly what I just did. I contacted Extreme Networks Support. Unless you know of some secret way to get their attention, I'm all ears.
