Regarding private APIs for extremecloudiq

Regarding private APIs for extremecloudiq

Hi everyone,

I am new to ExtremeCloud IQ product. As per this link, different deployment actions like private cloud is available.

I found the API document for public cloud: https://extremecloudiq.com/api-docs/api-reference.html.

Now, I wanted to confirm if APIs are also supported for private cloud. If they are allowed, are there any differences in the authentication mechanism? Also, what would be the base URL paths in such cases? Are there any more differences in addition to these?

Hi there, thanks for your patience while I looked into this for you. Our Private Cloud does support APIs, and everything should work the same as with the public cloud instances.

Hi Sam, thanks for the information.

So, I am assuming that all the endpoints will behave in the same way as cloud APIs and even the authentication schemes will work as expected. The only thing which will change is URL and port of the API. Right?

Hi @SamPirok. Could you please help us?

Also, would like to know if private cloud is same as on-prem offering, because, I found a document stating different APIs for on-prem: https://emc.extremenetworks.com/content/oneview/docs/admin/docs/ov_admin_client_api.html
