Hi,
In the latest XIQ updates, maintenance windows have been extended to 5 hours, whereas previously they were only 2 or 3 hours. Furthermore, what used to start and end on the same day now often extends past midnight.
The biggest challenge with the communication message is that it uses the PT (Pacific Time) time zone, which must have been appropriate when most RDCs were in the US. Now, the RDC network encompasses multiple locations around the globe.
It would be good to start thinking about using UTC as the standard time zone in communication messages (https://cloud-status.extremecloudiq.com/communications/global/notifications.html), as it's easier for everyone to make a mind calculation than having to remember the difference between our time zone and Pacific Time. This is without even considering daylight saving time.
I hope this suggestion can be forwarded internally and reach the XIQ Product Manager or the team responsible for this.
