Last night I upgraded 17 x VSP-7254 switches to 8.10.5 and 3 x Universal 5520 Fabric Engine switches to 9.0.4.0.
I noticed some odd behavior within my Firewall logs. The 3 x Fabric Engine switches begin routing VLANs that are tied to VRFs (L3VSNs) using the Global Router on initial boot. Then a few minutes later, after the VRF process initializes they use their respective VRF routing table. Is this expected behavior or a bug? It's almost as if the switch boots up, all VLAN interfaces (SVIs) are placed in the GlobalRouter until the VRF process starts and then they are moved but forwarding begins somewhere in between those 2 events. Here are some logs that made me thing this is what happening, can anyone confirm?
