I need to relocate a X450G2-48p from one stack/IDF to a different stack/IDF in the same building.

I would like the configurations and vlans from the new location to replace the old.

The first step would be to remove the switch from the existing stack and then proceed with consoling onto it and clearing its configuration via command: unconfigure switch all

From memory I believe that If the switch was a standby switch and not master capable you will need to type: REBOOT AS MASTER-CAPABLE on the username login screen. The switch will then reboot and then the unconfigure switch all command can be issued

Once switch comes back online login and go through the prompts it will display (just press enter)
Now follow the Extreme knowledge base article for the adding of a new switch to a stack: https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000083355

You will then need to manually add the configuration onto these new ports (spanning tree, vlans etc)
