Hello,
When building a VMwareESXi cluster, we are currently working on a configuration in which an Extreme VDX6740-48 (hereafter referred to as VDX) is used as a ToR switch to connect to an HPE DL360G10 (hereafter referred to as DL360),but the following issue is occurring on the VDX.
Does anyone know about this issue?
・When connecting 19 or 20 ports of TE1/0/1 to TE1/0/48 to a DL360 in power-on state via an SFP+ module (10GBASE-T) , turning on the VDX cause the OS boot fails and the repeated forcibliy reboot.
・To avoid the above issue, if you turn on the VDX with fewer than 19 ports connected, and then wire the DL360 one by one, a forced reboot will start when wiring to the 19th or 20th port.
*At this time, 5 DL360s are wired to each port (4 cables from each chassis, totaling 20 cables to the VDX).
*At this time, the same issue occurs even if we replace the location of the port that triggers the reboot/SFP+ module.
*At this time, ESXi 6.7 is running on the DL360 (however, network IP settings are not entered).
*The same issue occurs with both NOS 7.4.1h and NOS 7.4.1e firmware for the VDX.

The issue you're encountering with the Extreme VDX6740-48 and HPE DL360 G10 seems related to a power or hardware conflict when connecting multiple devices through the SFP+ modules. It could be due to overloading the ports, or a firmware or driver issue. Hope! it will be helpful.
