The C5G124-48P2 does not have SFP+ ports so will only connect to the X440 with the SFP MGBIC. The C5K125-48P2 will connect to the X440 with SFP or SFP+ MGBIC, you will need a license on the X440 to enable 10Gb on the SFP+ MGBIC.

its C5G124-48P2 and C5G125-48P2, what we want to do is to connect them to new X440-48p G2 and X460 G2 switches through SFP and SFP+ ports, will the connectivity between Entrasys SFP and Extreme Summit SFPs work without problem while connecting them back to back ?

The SFP+ 10301 will not be compatible as neither of those switches have SFP + ports.

What model of B and A switches do you have?
