Hi

i'm just new in Extreme and have hire in Extreme Enviroment , aftre check all availabe ERS switch in my 

orgnization i found Spanning tree is disbled in all ERS switches and this can cuase L2 loop , please i need ecommendation about this issue why is disabled and what if i enable it is there any impact will happend 

please note it's disabled on all interfaces not only the uplinks

Spanning Tree will be disabled on a port that is not a member of any VLANs. If you're making a VLAN changes using EDM and apply the removal and add in a single step, I've seen it disable spanning tree because of the order it writes the changes.

If all the ports are members of VLANs now, you can enable spanning tree in CLI using:

interface Ethernet ALL

spanning-tree learning fast

can you please explain why is disabled as below 

spanning-tree mstp port 1/ALL learning disable
spanning-tree mstp port 2/ALL learning disable
spanning-tree mstp port 3/ALL learning disable
spanning-tree mstp port 4/ALL learning disable

It is possible that the switch have ISIS configured.  Extremes fabric configuration leaves spanning tree disabled. 

no it's switch engine not fabric engine
