If you use Splunk and your network runs ExtremeXOS, check out this new Splunk App: https://apps.splunk.com/app/1780/.

It's built to be run in stand-alone mode, so experiment with it a bit. Splunk does the heavy lifting and from that index, we built some great visualizations to help baseline and analyze your network. You can do things like trend your infrastructures use of memory, severity of log messages, device locations, etc.

Its a great tool, that I think you'll enjoy.

If you have any feedback, please send to me directly or splunk@extremenetworks.com. Thanks!

Yes, there are.
I don't have it on-hand right now, but the required Splunk configuration is explained in the README file bundled in the app.

I don't seem to get any data in splunk even though the switch says it is successful. Are there particular settings within splunk that it enables it to parse the file correctly?
