cpu utilization for new switch

We have a new switch and it shows as follows :

Any idea why 99.9% cpu util was caused here ?

version running :ExtremeXOS version 15.6.4.2

It has 4 links up with very less traffic .

I do understand that .. What I am wondering is that what could have caused cpu spike at 99.9 % when there is very minimum config and data traffic passing through switch

It's possible that information still exists in the log (show log) that can show which process spiked the CPU. It depends on the amount of log messages you receive and how long ago this happened.
You can use the clear cpu-monitoring command to reset these values.

The 99.9% in the max column means that there was a moment in the history that the CPU spiked to 99.9%
The current reading does not show any high CPU usage.
