equivalent to "show ipfdb" command on xos

I am trying to figure out the layer 3 capacity of my x440 switch. Is there a "show ipfdb" command like there used to be in extremeware os?

Route compression will not increase the max per say but will consolidate the entries and save you some table space. To maximize the IPv4 route table use this command:

configure iproute reserved-entries maximum

Thanks!. Quick followup: Would enabling route compression increase the theoretical max of the IPv4 HW route table. Right now I see it as "64"

Hey Koan,

Are you looking for the iproute capacity or IP ARP table capacity?

show iproute and show iparp should give you what you need. If you are looking for mac address table than you would just run show fdb.

For specs regarding maximum allowed entries look no further than the data sheet for the x440 http://www.extremenetworks.com/product/summit-x440-series

The "show iparp" command is similar to the "show ipfdb" command in that it displays the contents of the IP forwarding database (FDB) table.
