Hi,

When i am running "show iparp permanent vr "VR-Default" on X450e-24p switch. Every time it shows 7-8 ip addresses in the output. Does it mean these are bad/virus infected machines ip addresses. I am asking here this question because i am facing packet loss issue on this switch.
Thanks in advance. (from sanjay_pawar)

How many entries are in the ARP table? There is a maximum of 8000 on the X450e under XOS 15.3 according to the release notes. How many entries are in the FDB? Max supported is 8192. If you have more devices than that passing through the switch you're going to need a model with more capacity. (from Ansley_Barnes)

Thank you for taking time to reply.
I haven't found any settings which is done for permanent MAC/IP pairing. Again my arp tables getting full and that is causing packet loss. How to resolve this issue.
Looking forward to hear from you. (from sanjay_pawar)

This just means someone created a permanent MAC/IP pairing for those devices on the switch, it has nothing to do with hostile traffic. (from Ansley_Barnes)
