Jabber Frames on Uplink

Jabber Frames on Uplink

Hi,

I'm experiencing a problem with Jabber frames on an uplink between two switches.

We use the switches for iSCSI connections, its purely a layer 2 network.

We have 2 x x670v with VIM4-40G4X Cards, one in each.

The Link between them is a LAG, ports 49 to 49 and 53 to 53, in a static LAG, L2 address based algorithm.

All ports are set for jumbo frames, I cant however specify MTU size because of the vlan not having an IP interface.

The cabling between the switches for both links in the LAG is done by two

40 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP+ passive copper cable assembly, 1m length Part Number 10312

I can confirm no Jabber from any edge ports, or any port errors for that matter.

At the moment it doesn't seem to be affecting performance

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Ian

*Update*

It appears this was a cable issue, assume with the transceiver as a cable replacement has rectified the problem.
