ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host is coming while trying ssh to BD-8806 running on 15.3.1.4.
Login through console is available and I do not see any abnormal log.
Can someone please help me to identify the cause and some commands required for troubleshooting?
Thanks

ssh is already enabled. In fact we were using ssh to login for the last two years.
I then enabled telnet from console session and was able to gain access to switch remotely.
the output of show log was a surprise. It was not showing any log of
for the last one week even though we tried multiple times (~20-30 times today).
exsshd process utilization was also fine.
The issue resolved only after restarting the exsshd process. But I now need to present the root cause to customer for which I do not have any clue why it happened.

That's interesting. I'm glad you were able to get it working, but I'm not sure what may have changed when restarting the process. If there are no log messages, it is unlikely that GTAC would have enough information to investigate and provide a root cause.
I should mention that EXOS 15.3 reached End-of-Engineering in February of this year, and will reach End-of-Support in Feb 2016. You may want to begin planning an upgrade 🙂
