ACL's on our switches must be configured via cli so would require a script.
Our Netsight Console application provides an ACL Manager that allows you to manage ACL's and also a command script tool that allows you to push a script to multiple devices with a single enforce.
Policy on our switches are set via snmp. Netsight Policy Manager is our recommended application for configuration. It uses snmp for reading and writing values to the required mibs for the various functions such as configuration of policy roles, applying rules, setting CoS, applying static policies, and other related policy tasks.
