X460 Configuration Changes Revert

Question 1)  Is there a configuration revert command that can be executed to immediately move to the previous configuration?
Qusestion 2)  I understand that a configuration change takes place immediately.  After making a configuration change (a mistake) but not saving it would  the switch go back to the original(previous) configuration before the change if it is rebooted?

Hi Walt,

1) I'm afraid not, there is no commit/rollback as in Juniper for example. You can play with different configuration files, but this requires a reboot.
2) Correct, at least if you're not using auto-save. If you don't have physical access to the box, you can schedule a reboot in the near future to go back to the previous config:
reboot time <month> <day> <year> <hour> <minute> <sec>

Don't forget to cancel the reboot if changes were succesful 🙂
