My question is the following:
We bought some 210-12p-GE2 switches that allow routing and dhcp, we bought them for that.
The scenario I'm trying to configure on the switch is:
A vlan101 (ip switch in this vlan: 192.168.96.1/22) where terminals will be connected via wifi through some extreme access points.
A vlan100 (ip switch in this vlan: 172.20.64.2/24) that will be connected to a router (router ip 172.20.64.1) that will output internet to the previous terminals.
By configuring these interfaces and enabling them in the routing mode, the switch create in the routing table 2 entries to communicate these two networks:
Network Address: 172.20.64.0; Next Hop Ip Address: 172.20.64.2; Next Hop Interface: vlan100.
Network Address: 192.168.96.0; Next Hop Ip Address: 192.168.96.1; Next Hop Interface: vlan101.
To give the internet output to the vlan 101 routed by the vlan 100 I create another entry in the table to indicate that to reach the internet (0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0) the next hop is 172.20.64.1 (router ip) but it does not work for me.
Network Address: 0.0.0.0; Next Hop Ip Address: 172.20.64.1; Next Hop Interface: vlan100.
I see in the configuration menu of the routing that the switch allows 1 next hop as maximum.
Could this be the problem?
That this switch does not allow two Hops: one from 192.168.96.0 to 172.20.64.0 and another from the 172.20.64.0 to 0.0.0.0?
Thanks.
