How to login into extreme summit x440-24t switch?

Hello Everyone.I have a summit exreme switch x440-24t i need to login the console,and i dont have serial cable with me can somebody give me the steps to login into it by providing default gateway and the connections.Thanks in advance.

One end of the RJ45 cable should be connected to your console port (usb port) of the X440 switch and the other end should be connected to the serial port of your laptop via using the DB9 connector as shown below:-

Venkat,
It is not possible to gain console access to the switch through an Ethernet connection.
For switches with an RJ-45 console connection (e.g. X440), it will be necessary to use an RJ-45 to DB-9 adapter or a rollover cable. If the PC does not have a serial port, a serial to USB adapter may also be necessary.
