We are using VOSS 9.0.0.0. I am seeing very inconsistent results with this switch and different copper sfp's of different brands. Sometimes the port comes up and sometimes it doesn't. There is nothing in the log that seems to indicate whats going on. A port with copper sfp that was working just fine, will then after a reboot not work again, nothing has changed. Then I exchange the sfp for other brands and they don't work either, where previously they have. I am using Fiberstore Extreme branded SFP's, Fiberstore generic and cisco sfp's and once the switch starts doing this for a particular port none of them work. The switch reports the insertion of the sfp in the log, but the link will not come up. I don't understand what is happening? Has anyone else seen behavior like this?
