Decommission switches to redeploy on another site.

Hi 

Hope someone can advise. 

If there is any recommended method for decommisioning Edge switches from one fabric network to another.

Is it simply a matter of wiping the switch after removing from Network A and reconfiguring for Network B ?

I know this sounds a stupid question but just wanted to check there is not some better easier method we can just deploy on a new nework and the switches are self configuring via SiteEngine.

We have switched network A off but want to use on Network B.

These are running VOSS And fabric so just looking to provide additional siwtches.

Any advice appreciated.

Before powering them off, execute these commands on them:

conf term
unconfigure switch

If you are using the auto-generated SystemID and NickName I suggest to wait at least 20 minutes before moving them between areas, if you have a multi-area design. This is to ensure the old SystemIDs and NickNames are aged out in the LinkState Database.
